cDNA microarrays
Also called expression microarrays, cDNA microarrays are a type of microarray thatanalyzes the type and amount of RNA in a sample. To this end a phase reverse transcription is required, the analysis is performed on cDNA obtained from RNA. Because RNA is generated when a gene is expressed, the cDNA microarrayanalyzes gene expression.
