Biomarker genetic

26 de January de 2021

A genetic biomarker is a DNA sequence used to predict a phenotype or genotype inheritance. For example when studying a particular phenotype it is possible to set a mainly present sequence in individuals that share the phenotype to study but not in those who do not express this phenotype. The sequence can be a marker to predict the phenotype.
